Draw-lot Qualifying Rounds to the 2018 World Championship

On the afternoon of yesterday, the Draw-lot for the Qualifying Rounds to the 2018 World Championship was held at the offices of the FIP Presidency.

The National Teams pre-registered from Estonia, Great Britain, Norway and Czech Republic, have communicated in the course of the week the decision of not being able to participate in the Qualifying Rounds.

Venues and Dates of the Qualifying Rounds for the 2018 World Championship

Next, we publish the new Information Report on the assigned Venues and Dates to the Qualifying Rounds for the XIV World Padel Championship. Associate Members have been requested to confirm their participation in the Qualifying Rounds before the Draw, which will take place next Sunday, May 13. The great event of the world padel will take place in the city of Asunción, capital of Paraguay, and will be held from October 28 to November 4.

National Teams in the direction of the XIV World Padel Championships 2018

The race to the XIV World Padel Championships 2018 has already begun. The great event of the world of padel will take place in the city of Asuncion, capital of Paraguay, and will be held between October and November 2018. The National Male and Female Teams that occupy the first 9 positions of the official FIP ranking by National Teams are already classified, together with the host country Paraguay.

Next we indicate the list of the National Teams already classified for the XIV World Padel Championships 2018 and that have confirmed their pre-registration:

Host Candidacies for the Qualifying Rounds – XIV World Padel Championships 2018

As we mentioned a few days ago, the Official FIP 2018 Calendar has already reserved the dates for the Qualifying Rounds dispute to the XIV World Padel Championships, a World Championship to be held in Paraguay from October 28 to November 4.

The dates reserved within the FIP Calendar 2018 for the dispute of the Qualifying Rounds of the XIV World Padel Championships 2018 are the following:

– From June 7 to 10 in Male Category

– From June 14 to 17 in Female Category

– From 5 to 8 of July in Male Category

– From 12 to 15 of July in Female Category

– From August 2 to 5 in both Categories

Remember that all the Federations or National Padel Associations wishing to participate have already sent their pre-registrations before February 15 and the definitive registration must be sent before March 15, 2018.

The Male & Female National Teams that occupy the first 9 positions of the official FIP ranking by National Teams are already classified, along with the host country Paraguay. The six remaining places that will give access to the XIV World Padel Championships 2018 will be elucidated in the Qualifying Rounds.

As of today, the following pre-candidatures have been received to host the Qualifying Rounds of the XIV World Padel Championships 2018:

– Belgium

– USA

– Australia

– Poland

– Japan

Technical Specifications and minimum Conditions are als enclosed and published. Any other benefit for the participating National Teams will be carefully evaluated.

It will be accepted candidacies presented within March 20, in order to define the Host Cities and Clubs by March 30.

More National Teams pre-registered for the World Championships 2018

A few days ago we informed you of the first National Teams to make their corresponding Pre-registrations to the XIV World Padel Championship to be held between October and November 2018 in the city of Asuncion, capital of Paraguay. The United States, Spain, France, Portugal, Switzerland and the hostess, Paraguay, were the first countries to send their pre-registrations for the great world meeting of the padel.

In recent days, more National Federations have formulated the pre-registration confirming their intention to participate in the XIV World Padel Championships: the countries of Italy, Chile, Belgium, Sweden, Mexico, Poland, Czech Republic, Australia, Germany and Uruguay they add to the most relevant event on the planet.

As of today, these are the 16 National Teams to have confirmed their pre-registrations for the 2018 World Padel Championships:

The Male and Female National Teams that occupy the first 9 positions of the official FIP ranking by National Teams are already classified, along with the host country Paraguay. In the FIP 2018 Official Calendar, the dates for the Qualifying Rounds have already been reserved, where the six remaining places that will give access to the 2018 World Championships will be decided. All Federations or National Padel Associations have the deadline to send their pre-registrations to the XIV World Padel Championships before February 15 and the final registration before March 15.

First pre-registrations for the World Padel Championships 2018

Last week was opened the period for the National Federations can make their corresponding Pre-registration to the XIV World Padel Championships to be held between October and November 2018 in the city of Asuncion, capital of Paraguay, confirming their willingness to participate in the Championships, either with both Teams or only with the Male Team or the Female Team.

After a few months of intense institutional work in terms of the preparation for this World Padel Championships 2018, starts the road to the most important padel competition, which is held every two years and has been running without interruption since its first edition in 1992 in Madrid-Seville until the 2016 held in the portuguese town of Cascais.

Until yesterday Friday January 19, have confirmed their pre-registration and their intention to participate in the XIV World Padel Championships Paraguay 2018 with Male & Female Teams the National Federations of:

– United States

– Spain

– France

– Portugal

– Switzerland

– Paraguay

It should be noted that the Male and Female National Teams that occupy the top 9 positions of the Official FIP Ranking by National Teams are classified, together with Paraguay which is the host, but also the respective National Federations or Padel Associations must send the pre-registration before of February 15 and the definitive registration before March 15 of 2018.
If a Qualifying Round is to be held, the results of the sports confrontation will be decided by the National Teams that will occupy the six places available. Subsequently, the venues where the probable Qualifying Phases will be played and the dates for them that have been reserved in the Official FIP 2018 Calendar.
