Prize money paid to individual players is paid gross. The recipient is solely responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes in their country of tax residence. For players who are not tax resident in Sweden, Swedish withholding tax apply in accordance with Swedish tax law (SINK 15%) and applicable double taxation treaties. Invoices referring to prize money must not include VAT, unless explicitly required by law and approved in writing by the organiser prior to payment.The organiser does not provide tax advice and assumes no responsibility for the player’s tax compliance.
