{"id":48236,"date":"2023-02-03T14:33:39","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T13:33:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.padelfip.com\/?p=48236"},"modified":"2023-06-16T14:58:32","modified_gmt":"2023-06-16T12:58:32","slug":"premier-padel-2023-tournament-calendar-reveals-8-tournaments-worldwide-with-more-to-be-added","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.padelfip.com\/es\/2023\/02\/premier-padel-2023-tournament-calendar-reveals-8-tournaments-worldwide-with-more-to-be-added\/","title":{"rendered":"PREMIER PADEL: 2023 TOURNAMENT CALENDAR REVEALS 8 TOURNAMENTS WORLDWIDE WITH MORE TO BE ADDED"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>FOUR MAJORS STARTING WITH THE OOREDOO QATAR MAJOR PREMIER PADEL IN FEBRUARY<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>PREMIER PADEL TO RETURN TO HISTORIC VENUES INCLUDING STADE ROLAND-GARROS AND THE FORO ITALICO<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>LONDON, DOHA, ROME \u2013 3 February 2023<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Premier Padel has announced its eagerly anticipated 2023 calendar which will see the official global tour take in five continents over at least eight tournaments in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The season will once again begin in Doha with the\u00a0<strong>Ooredoo Qatar Major Premier Padel<\/strong>\u00a0at the Khalifa Tennis &amp; Squash complex from\u00a0<strong>26 February \u2013 6 March<\/strong>, before moving to Europe for the\u00a0<strong>Italy Premier Padel Major<\/strong>; taking place at the Foro Italico\u00a0<strong>from 10-16 July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From Rome, the tour heads to Spain for the first P1 event of the season. The\u00a0<strong>Madrid Premier Padel P1<\/strong>\u00a0will take place from\u00a0<strong>17-23 July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The tour then moves to Argentina for the\u00a0<strong>Mendoza Premier Padel P1<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>31 July \u2013 6 August<\/strong>, before returning to Europe for the third Major of the season. The\u00a0<strong>Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major<\/strong>\u00a0which takes place at the world-famous Stade Roland-Garros from\u00a0<strong>4-10 September<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Between the Majors will be a trip to the pyramids, the\u00a0<strong>NEWGIZA Premier Padel P1<\/strong>\u00a0takes place between\u00a0<strong>30 October \u2013 5 November<\/strong>. The final Major of the year takes Premier Padel back to the \u2018birth place\u2019 of padel, Mexico. The\u00a0<strong>GNP Mexico Major Premier Padel<\/strong>\u00a0takes places from\u00a0<strong>27 November \u2013 3 December<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The finale of the 2023 Premier Padel season will be in Italy with the\u00a0<strong>Milano Premier Padel P1<\/strong>, at the Allianz Cloud from\u00a0<strong>4-10 December<\/strong>. Further tournaments may be added in consultation with the Professional Padel Association.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luigi Carraro, President of the International Padel Federation (FIP)<\/strong>, said: \u201c<em>2023 will be an amazing year for padel at professional and amateur levels, supported by another spectacular set of Premier Padel events worldwide. I am delighted to see Premier Padel\u2019s continued focus on players\u2019 wellbeing as the tour builds on the great and amazing successes from last year. At FIP together with Premier Padel, the Professional Padel Association and our fans, we are excited to continue this incredible adventure together.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nasser Al-Khela\u00effi, Chairman of Premier Padel<\/strong>, said: \u201c<em>We are delighted to announce our tournaments for 2023, returning to the cities and places which welcomed Premier Padel so warmly last year. As a tour fully focused on the athletes, players will always remain at the heart of everything we do. We look forward to another spectacular Premier Padel season.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Board of Directors of the Professional Padel Association (PPA),\u00a0<\/strong>said: \u201cThe players are excited to play on the Premier Padel circuit again this year. Last season professional padel was raised to a new level and this season we look forward to building on those successes and elevating padel to greater international prominence and standards. Premier Padel is a truly international tour providing world class facilities, venues and professionalism at the heart of the organisation.
