WORLD TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
The World Championships Final Phase is currently reserved to the best sixteen (16) National Teams, male and female, with direct access of some pre-classified teams due to their position in the Official FIP Ranking for National Teams, and others teams winners of Qualifying Rounds celebrated in different countries and divided by geographic areas. The World Championships is performed along a full week of competition, divided in a early phase of group or league round, and a second phase of draw starting from eight of finals. All positions are defined along the week, from the 1st or Champion to the 16th. position.
The series between the National Teams, composed by eight (8) players selected by the own National Association of Federation, are plaid at “the best of three matches” formula, then the respective coach define thirty (30) minutes before the series the six (6) athletes who will represent the national flag colours.
