After Giulianova, here comes Porto Sant’Elpidio. The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to the Italian Adriatic side for another FIP RISE event not to be missed. Over the weekend, at the Ok Sport, 41 pairs will be on court between the main draw and qualifiers. There are seven players from the Italian national team, including Simone Cremona and Marco Cassetta, who won the tournament last year.
“We are very proud to welcome so many players among the top 100 in the world – explains tournament director Marco Marziali -. In one year, this tournament has grown a lot: it will be played outdoor, on two courts, and we obviously hope to see a great show and that fans will come to watch the games“.
Leading the entry list are Cristian German Gutierrez (world number 55) and Ignacio Piotto Albornoz, both from Argentina; on the other side of the draw, number 2 seeded Spaniard Carlos Perez Cabeza and Italian-Argentinian Emiliano Martin Iriart. In Porto Sant’Elpidio there will also be players from France, Belgium and Great Britain, and also Mohit Mohit from India.
Cremona and Cassetta are the third seed, followed by two other Azzurri, Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Danny Cattaneo.
During next weekend, a FIP PROMISES will be also played in Badajoz (Spain). There will be five draw: Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 men, Under 14 and Under 16 women
