Augsburger in Rotterdam, Pablo Nicolas Egea in Santa Maria. It was the weekend of doubles for the CUPRA FIP Tour, as another Argentine won his second tournament in a row. Paired with Gonzalo Daniel Frete, Egea won the FIP RISE Squadra Santa Maria (Brazil), having lifted the trophy a week earlier in Iquique.
As the number 3 seed, the two Argentines defeated Brazil’s Matheus De Avila Simonato and Lucas Cunha (6-7 6-3 6-2). Egea and Frete had also needed the third set (6-4 6-7 6-3) in the semifinals to defeat two other Brazilians, Bruno Nakid and Pedro Toccafondo Neto.
