There are 29 pairs starting in the FIP PROMOTION Vienna draw, scheduled to take place at the Sportcenter Donaucity. Leading the entry list are Spaniards Alvaro Sola and Nicolas Maniucov Maniucova, the latter winner in July of another FIP PROMOTION in Osaka.

The two will benefit from a bye in the first round, going straight into the round of 16 as will the number 2 seed, Dutchmen Sten Richters and Bram Meijer, and number 3, Spaniard Xavi Rodriguez Vila and Paraguayan Samuel Rodriguez.

In Vienna, in addition to the Austrian hosts, the Spaniards and a Paraguayan, athletes from ten other nations, a total of 13, will play: Switzerland, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Croatia, Egypt, Sweden, Great Britain, Argentina and Ukraine.
