Andalucia Alcalà De Guadaira, Garrido-Libaak face Barahona-Garcia in the new event in Spain

Javi Garrido and Tino Libaak lead the men’s draw at the FIP Silver Andalucia Alcalà De Guadaira, a new stop on the CUPRA FIP Tour in Andalucia.
The tournament includes many top FIP-ranked players. Garrido and Libaak, who recently reached the quarterfinals at the Qatar Major and the semifinals at the P1 in Santiago, are number 15 and 29 in the world. The second seeds are Javier Barahona and Javi Garcia, ranked 23 and 28, who recently won the FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup in Rome, the FIP Silver Bmw Marmotor 25 Aniversario Club La Calzada, and the FIP Silver Vila Real.
In the women’s draw, the top pair is Lucia Martinez Gomez and Marta Marrero, ranked 27 and 32. They are on the opposite side of the draw from Jimena Velasco (34) and Noa Canovas (34), finalists at the FIP Silver Valencia in February. Velasco and Canovas are preparing to compete again in the Premier Padel events in Asuncion and Buenos Aires.
The tournament will be held in Alcalà De Guadaira (Spain) from Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18, and offers 80 points for the FIP ranking.
