Hamburg, Castaño and Jerez win in Germany

Manuel Castaño and Alejandro Jerez are the winners of the FIP Bronze Hamburg, in Germany. This is the second win in a row for the two Spanish players. In the last few weeks, they also won the FIP Bronze Ayia Napa (Cyprus) and the FIP Bronze Antalya (Turkey). The final win against fellow Spaniards Insa Sotillo and Rodrigo Coello, with a score of 7-6, 7-6, was key for their rise to world numbers 106 and 147.

This victory shows the great work they are doing and the goals they are reaching this year. Castaño was born in 2008, and Jerez in 2005.

“We are very happy to win this tournament. We had a great week. Now we have to keep going and do well in the next events,” said Manuel Castaño after the award ceremony.
