Alexandria, Hossam and Lacamoire win again in Egypt

Youssef Hossam and Julian Lacamoire win once more. The pair won the FIP Bronze in Alexandria (Egypt) after beating the top-seeded Spanish pair Pablo Castillo and Boris Castro in the final, with a score of 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. It’s an important win for the new number 133 and 140 in the FIP ranking, after also winning the FIP Bronze in Abu Dhabi last month.

“This was a very special win. We played very well this week and I want to congratulate Youssef for his great effort, as always. Now we need to keep training to keep getting better. Thanks to all the organizers of this beautiful tournament, it’s always a pleasure to play here,” said Julian Lacamoire after the prize ceremony.

In the women’s draw, the winners were Dutch player Janine Hemmes and German player Victoria Kurz, after the top-seeded pair Dora Andrejszki and Rosalie Van der Hoek withdrew before the final.
