Alexandria, the CUPRA FIP Tour back under the Pyramids

This weekend, the CUPRA FIP Tour stops in Egypt for the FIP Bronze in Alexandria. There will be two draws at the Alexandria Sporting Club, with 40 FIP ranking points up for grabs for the winning pairs. In the men’s draw, Pablo Castillo and Boris Castro, ranked 129th and 103rd respectively in the FIP rankings, lead the way, followed by the host Youssef Hossam and Argentine Julian Lacamoire, a well-tried and tested pair on the tour, as the number 2 seeds.

In the women’s draw, Hungarian Dora Andrejszki and the Dutch Rosalie Van der Hoek are the top seeds in a draw of 14 pairs, with another Dutch player, Janine Hemmes, seeded number 2 alongside German Victoria Kurz.
