Cote Du Midi, Top seeds Diestro-Esbrì and Orsi-Rodriguez win

The CUPRA FIP Tour had another exciting event in France. This weekend, the FIP Silver Cote Du Midi took place in Narbonne, in the south of France. The top-seeded pairs won both the men’s and women’s tournaments: Diestro-Esbrì in the men’s draw and Orsi-Rodriguez in the women’s.
The Spanish pair, who recently reached the quarterfinals at the P2 in Bordeaux and the semifinals at the P2 in Asuncion, won the final 6-0, 6-3 against their fellow Spaniards Fuertes-Font.
Carolina Orsi and Nuria Rodriguez also won. They had already won the FIP Silver in Chengdu last week. In the final, they beat Touly-Fassio with a score of 3-6, 6-1, 6-0.
“I’m really happy to win this beautiful tournament. I needed it to feel confident, full of energy, and motivated again! Now I’ll take a short break to recharge, and then we’ll be back on court at the P1 in Malaga,” said Carolina Orsi after the final.
