Day6, Women. Great Britain, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium reach the Final 8

Phase 2 of the FIP Euro Padel Cup has elected the four national teams that will qualify for the Final 8. At the end of an exciting day, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium are celebrating, joining Spain, Italy, Francia and Portugal.
In Group A, Great Britain beat Sweden 2-1 thanks to Phillips and Rose’s victory over Borjeson and Andersson; Poland came third thanks to a 2-1 win over Austria. In Group B, the Netherlands finished the three ties of Phase 2 without losing a match and today qualified for the Final 8 with a 3-0 win over Finland. Hungary finished third with a 2-1 win over Croatia.
In Group C, Hering and Plumer’s decisive 6-1 double in Germany’s 2-1 win over Switzerland was decisive. Lithuania finished third with a 2-1 win over Norway. Finally, in Group D, Belgium – which, like the Netherlands, finished Phase 2 with nine wins in nine matches – defeated Denmark 3-0, with Greece in the third place thanks to a 2-1 win over Estonia.
