Elche, Martina Vera and Maria Delgado win their first international title at only 15 years old: they are the youngest pair ever

The Spanish players were again very strong at the FIP Bronze Elche. In the men’s draw, Aaron Garcia and Sergio Arias won their first international title of 2025 with a 7-6, 7-5 win in the final against their fellow Spaniards Martinez-Naranjo.

In the women’s seeding, Martina Vera and Maria Delgado won and became the youngest pair ever to win a title in the CUPRA FIP Tour. They won the final 6-4, 7-5 against the Danish team Rasmussen-Haxen. It is a historic victory for Vera, who is now the second youngest player (15 years, 3 months, and 11 days) to win on the international tour, after Paula Ferran Diaz (15 years, 3 months, and 3 days), who won the FIP Bronze in Setubal. Delgado is now the third youngest on this special list.
