Trecar Cup, Giulia Dal Pozzo looking for another win in Italy

After last week’s FIP Silver in Giulianova, it’s now time for another tournament on the CUPRA FIP Tour: the FIP Silver Trecar Cup in Sandigliano (in northern Italy), which includes both men’s and women’s competitions.

The women’s draw is led by the team of Giulia Dal Pozzo (winner of three CUPRA titles in recent weeks, including two in Italy, in Nola and Palermo) and Camila Fassio (runner-up at the FIP Silver Cote Du Midi last week), ranked number 78 and 70 in the world. They are on the opposite side of the draw from Aid Martinez (85) and Ana Dominguez (69).

The top seeds in the men’s draw are Denis Perino and Mario Huete, ranked 72 and 81 in the FIP ranking. On the other side of the main draw, we find the local pair Simone Cremona and Giulio Graziotti, ranked 85 and 116 in the world.
