FIP Promises, from 2026 the new era of the circuit reserved for the NextGen of world padel

FIP Promises, reserved for young talents in world padel, is entering a new era. From 2026, the circuit organised by the International Padel Federation will be developed with a format designed to further improve the growth and visibility of the NextGen of padel.

The numbers of the FIP Promises circuit reserved for the Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 categories testify to the extraordinary growth of padel at youth level: while three tournaments were organised in 2021, they became 12 in 2022, 18 in 2023 and 41 in 2024. A figure that has already been surpassed in the first seven months of 2025, with a total of 55 tournaments held so far and a projection of over 100 tournaments by the end of the year. This rapid and wide-reaching growth has made it necessary to rethink and reorganise the global NextGen landscape.

The global structure will evolve into continental circuits in all categories: FIP Promises Europe, FIP Promises America, FIP Promises Asia, FIP Promises Africa. This model aims to promote competition and growth at a regional level, while increasing accessibility and participation.

The new structure of the FIP Promises circuit also includes the launch of a global Under-18 circuit, consisting of 10 international tournaments and a final Master. Participation in this global circuit will be reserved for the highest-ranked players from each continental circuit.

At the end of each season, the FIP Promises Award will be established for the top 10 players in the global circuit, giving them the opportunity to participate in selected Premier Padel and CUPRA FIP Tour events for the following year.
