Isla de la Palma, Castellò and Rufo win again in Spain

Jessica Castellò and Lorena Rufo are champions again in Spain. After winning the FIP Gold Gran Canaria last week, the home team also won the FIP Silver Isla de la Palma, showing once again their high level. They won the final 6-4, 6-3 against Lucia Garcia (who has 10 titles in the CUPRA FIP Tour, five in 2025) and Carolina Navarro (a former world number one who will retire at the end of the year).

In the men’s draw, the winners were the Spanish player Aimar Goñi (who also won the FIP Bronze Cordenons and reached the quarterfinals at Tarragona P1) and the Argentine Lucho Capra (his first international title in 2025). They won the final 6-3, 7-6 against Perino-Piotto.
