Island Padel Jersey, Cremona-Graziotti open the entry list. Patri Martinez goes for “the Tenth”
August 7, 2025
Two European vice-champions kick off the men’s entry list at the FIP Bronze in Jersey Island, with the CUPRA FIP Tour returning to British territory after the FIP Silver in Bristol last April and the FIP Bronze in London in May. Italians Simone Cremona and Giulio Graziotti start their last tournament as a pair ahead of the Belgian number one, Clement Geens — who won the national championship a month ago — playing alongside Swede Albin Olsson. In the 32-pair draw — with the first round starting Friday — the Dutch pair Sten Richters and Thijs Roper (3) also stand out, while 19-year-old Spaniard Pablo Sanchez tries again after reaching the final in the FIP Bronze Aveiro in mid-July. This time, the Madrid player will be on court with Marcos Córdoba by his side (4).
In the women’s tournament, Patri Martinez steps up, aiming for her tenth win on the circuit: the Spaniard will debut directly in the round of 16 against the French player Lea Godallier, who won another FIP Bronze this year in Agrigento and the FIP Silver Port de Bandol. The other seven seeded players in the draw also get a bye in the first round: among them, Carla Touly moves forward with Camila Fassio (2), who won the FIP Silver Trecar Cup in Sandigliano (Italy) two weeks ago. Eyes are also on Carolina Navarro and Bruna Albuquerque (4), who are behind Anna Ortiz and Aitana Garcia (3) in the entry list.
