Córdoba, Alonso-Bautista take the title. Back-to-back wins for Riera-Sharifova

A great comeback for Jairo Bautista on the CUPRA FIP Tour. Eight months after his victory at the Finals in Bourg-en-Bresse (with Fran Guerrero), the FIP No.20 is back on top, this time winning the FIP Silver in Córdoba alongside Edu Alonso (No.15). The top seeds defeated the Spanish-Italian duo of Aris Patiniotis and Jesús Moya in the final, 6-4 6-4. For both it’s their first title of 2025 on the CUPRA FIP Tour, just a few days before their debut at the P1 in Madrid, where they’ll enter as the No.9 seeds.

In the women’s draw, Virginia Riera (world No.31) and Ksenia Sharifova (No.28) kept up their strong run, beating Aida Martínez and Ana Domínguez 7-6 6-4 to claim a second straight title, after their win at the FIP Silver in Belgrade. Their next stop will be at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, where they’ll face Marta Ortega and Tamara Icardo.
