Day1, Spain, Italy, France and Argentina dominate in both draws

The best of the NextGen and flags from all over the world were in Reus, where day 1 of the FIP Junior World Cup Costa Daurada 2025 ended, running until October 4.

MEN – In Group A, Italy and Spain won 3-0 against Egypt and Chile. In Group B, France beat Netherlands 3-0, while Sweden won 2-1 against Portugal. In Group C, Argentina and Mexico won 3-0 against Ecuador and Germany. In Group D, Paraguay and Brazil won 3-0 against Belgium and Venezuela.

WOMEN – Same story in the women’s draw: in Group A, Spain and Mexico beat Egypt and Germany 3-0 without losing a set. In Group B, France and Argentina won all matches against Japan and Chile. In Group C, Italy and Portugal beat Uruguay and Venezuela 3-0. Group D was closer, with Sweden and Brazil winning 2-1 against Paraguay and Belgium.
