Day2. Clear wins for Italy and Spain, first victories for Egypt and Venezuela

In Reus, day 2 of the FIP Junior World Cup Costa Daurada 2025 came to a close, with the NextGen delivering great spectacle in both draws.
MEN – In Group A, Italy and Spain continued their dominance with 3–0 wins against Chile and Egypt, and are now at full points ahead of tomorrow’s direct clash. Same result for France in Group B, not conceding a single set to Portugal, as well as Sweden against the Netherlands. Argentina also confirmed itself with a clear 3–0 against Germany, and Mexico beat Ecuador 2–1 in Group C. Venezuela reacted in Group D, earning its first victory by defeating Paraguay 2–1, while Brazil won 2–1 against Belgium.
WOMEN – Spain continued its run without dropping a set, defeating Germany 3–0 in Group A, while Egypt overcame Mexico 2–1. Full points also for France and Argentina in Group B against Chile and Japan. Still no sets lost as well for Italy and Portugal in Group C against Venezuela and Uruguay. Finally, victories for Sweden (3–0 against Belgium) and Brazil (2–1 against Paraguay) in Group D.
