September 6, 2025
There was an extraordinary atmosphere today at the Movistar Arena for the semi-finals of the Premier Padel Comunidad de Madrid P1: 14,256 spectators enjoyed the four semi-finals that decided the pairs who will compete for the title tomorrow at 4 p.m. CET. After beating Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan in the quarter-finals, Martin Di Nenno and Leo Augsburger repeated the feat against the number 3 seeds Juan Lebron and Franco Stupaczuk, two players who had recently shared the court with Di Nenno. After two hours and six minutes and a great comeback, the match ended 3-6 6-3 7-6 for a pair playing together for only the second time this season, having started their partnership in Tarragona. While this is Augsburger’s second final of 2025 after Asuncion (when he played with Pablo Cardona), Di Nenno will be playing for a title after more than a year and a half: his last final was the P1 in Milan, paired with Stupaczuk. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia will be chasing their third title in a row in Madrid, their fifth consecutive title this season, after beating Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas 6-2 7-5.
