Porto Sant’Elpidio, Collado and Hernandez bounce back

From the Belgrade final to the victory in Porto Sant’Elpidio. Guille Collado and Pol Hernandez bounced back from last week’s loss to Abbate/Montiel and claimed another CUPRA FIP Tour title, thanks to their win at the FIP Silver held over the weekend in Italy on the Marche coast. The No.2 seeds beat Denis Perino and Ignacio Piotto in the final (6-3 2-6 6-2) marking their third title of 2025 after wins at the FIP Silver events in Port de Bandol and Giulianova between June and July.

In the women’s draw, the italo-Argentine Mary Montesi and Argentine Maria Laura Ferreyra earned their first title of the season: after beating the No.2 seeds Ana Ortiz and Giulia Dal Pozzo in the semifinals, they claimed the title following the retirement of Lorena Vano and Alba Perez, the top seeds, in the final. “We won without being able to finish the final because our friend Lorena got hurt. Wishing her a speedy recovery”, Montesi said at the end of the tournament
