Asia Final 8, Men’s Day3: UAE vs Australia and Qatar vs Iran in the semifinals

The semifinal bracket of the FIP Asia Padel Cup is now complete. The four qualified teams had already been determined after the first two ties; what remained was to decide the matchups. The matches that will decide the two spots in the final are United Arab Emirates vs Australia and Qatar vs Iran.
Closing Group A in first place were the United Arab Emirates, thanks to a 2-1 win over Iran, in a group where Lebanon finished third after a 2-1 victory over Jordan. In Group B, the hosts Qatar took advantage of the home-court factor at the Khalifa Tennis and Squash International Complex, coming from behind to beat 2-1 Australia, which had initially taken the lead in the tie thanks to a win in the first match by Pat Rafter and Jake Benzal. Kuwait finished third after defeating Pakistan 2-1.
