Austin: Agritelley and Dubins, the American stars

A Mexican and an Argentine lead the entry list for the FIP Bronze Austin in the United States. Juan Pablo Castillo and Oscar Matias Almada top the men’s draw this weekend on the Texan courts of Padel39. In the bottom half, another Mexican-Argentine duo is making their way through, with Alejandro Alcaraz and Juan Manuel Argañaras. Among the home players, Nico Agritelley stands out. Back in March, he was part of the historic “American clash” at the Miami Premier Padel P1 with Vinny Di Francesco against fellow Americans Matias and Aaron Segura.

On the women’s side, Camila Ramme and Jordana Ailen Lujan Ferreyra are leading the draw. Keep an eye on second seeds Brittany Dubins from the US, playing with Margarida Fernandes. In the bottom half, Manuela Schuck is also making waves—she’s had two wins (in Chile and Porto Alegre) and two CUPRA FIP Tour finals (Veracruz and Aguascalientes) in the past three months. The Brazilian will team up with Raquel Piltcher, who comes off her win at last month’s FIP Silver Guimaraes.
