Day2. Indonesia wins again in the women’s draw. The third tie of Phase 2 is set for Sunday

The Day2 of Phase 2 of the FIP Asia Padel Cup is now complete. In the men’s event, victories went to Kuwait, Pakistan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, and Lebanon; in the women’s event, wins came for Thailand, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
MEN At the Khalifa Tennis and Squash International Complex in Doha, the men’s draw saw Kuwait make its debut with a 2-1 victory over Bahrain in Group A (Indonesia had a rest day). In Group B, Pakistan won its opener against China, with Thailand completing the group. Jordan also claimed a 2-1 win over Saudi Arabia in Group C (South Korea rested), while in Group D Kazakhstan and Lebanon both scored victories over Japan and the Philippines, respectively.
WOMEN In the women’s draw, Thailand defeated Qatar 2-1 in Group A (Lebanon rested), while Indonesia swept Bahrain 3-0 in Group B (Kuwait rested), second victory for the Indonesian team. In Group C, Saudi Arabia beat Pakistan 3–0, and the United Arab Emirates edged out China 2-1.
Sunday’s schedule will feature the third and final tie of the group stage, which will determine the teams qualifying for the Final 8.

Fourteen teams are taking part in the women’s event: Bahrain, China, Indonesia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, and Iran.
Phase 2 runs from October 17 to 19, with the top teams from each group advancing to the Final 8, scheduled for October 20-24.
