Day3. The knockout stage begins: double challenge between Belgium and Sweden

The FIP Senior Padel Cup enters its knockout stage. With the third day of the group stage, the draw has been completed and the titles will be awarded between today and Saturday.
In the women’s tournament, Spain qualified directly for the semi-finals with a 5-0 win over Ireland, where they will face the winner of the Netherlands or Italy, who beat Great Britain and Germany respectively in the third tie. France, who beat Portugal, will face Sweden (4-1 over Finland) or Belgium (3-2 over Denmark) in the semi-finals.
In the men’s tournament, only the Spanish national team – first in the ranking – advanced directly to the semi-finals thanks to a 4-1 win over the Netherlands and will face Italy (4-1 over Great Britain) or Portugal (5-0 over Poland). The other two quarter-finals will be France vs Denmark (who beat Germany and Ireland) and, as in the women’s draw, Belgium vs Sweden, thanks to their victories over Norway and Lithuania.
