Phase 2: The race for the title begins in Doha

The long road to the FIP Asia Padel Cup title begins with Phase 2. At the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex – which also hosts one of the four Premier Padel Majors and was the venue for last year’s FIP World Padel Championships – the preliminary phase kicks off in a competition organized by the International Padel Federation (FIP) together with the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) and Padel Asia, featuring the leading padel nations from across the continent.
In the men’s event, 13 teams are taking part in Phase 2. Group A: Indonesia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Group B: Thailand, Pakistan, and China. Group C: South Korea, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. Group D: Japan, the Philippines, Lebanon, and Kazakhstan.The group winners will join the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Australia, and Iran in the Final 8, scheduled from October 20 to 24. In the women’s event, 10 teams are competing in Phase 2, with Japan, Australia, the Philippines and Iran already qualified for the Final 8. Group A: Lebanon, Thailand, and Qatar. Group B: Kuwait, Bahrain, and Indonesia. Group C (which will qualify two teams): Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, China, and Pakistan.
