Young talents shine in Argentina and Portugal

The 2025 FIP Promises tour continues, and this weekend there are two new events taking place in Argentina and Portugal: the FIP Promises Lisbon and the FIP Promises Buenos Aires. The young padel talents are ready to take the spotlight again in these two countries, between Europe and South America.

In the Lisbon tournament, both boys and girls will compete in the Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 categories. In the youngest group, the leading pairs are Xavier Ré–Sergio Álvarez and Mariana Pedroso–Maria Ferreira. In the Under 14, we’ll see Felipe Morales–Joao Guerreiro and Carolina Mascarenhas–Martina Cabanillas. The Under 16 includes Vicente Soto–Javier Merino and Amaya Sánchez–Martiina Cabanillas, while in the Under 18 the spotlight is on Carlos Flores–Diego Castro and Maria Teresa Bica–Iara Rocha.

Young talents will also compete in the FIP Promises Buenos Aires, which features the same categories: Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18, both male and female. Among the youngest are Bastian Cardiff–Simon Bautista. In the Under 14, the main pairs are Medina Joaquin–Juan Tomas Ciccioli and Fernanda Abarca–Emma Toromoreno. In the Under 16, all eyes are again on Medina Joaquin and Juan Tomas Ciccioli in the boys’ draw, with Zoe Benitez and Martina Marcel leading the girls’ category. In the Under 18, the featured players are Roman Cayetano and Lozano Gustavo.
