Lucena, Second straight win for Lorena Vano and Xenia Clascà

Lorena Vano and Xenia Clascà keep winning. The Italian-Spanish pair, after winning the FIP Bronze Ireland last week, did it again at the FIP Bronze Lucena in Spain. The world numbers 76 and 100 earned the 40 FIP ranking points thanks to their 6-4 6-3 win in the final against the Spanish number 3 seeds Arriola–Moriñigo.

“I am very happy with this win. Now we must keep going like this and prepare well for the next tournaments,” said Lorena Vano after the trophy ceremony.

In the men’s draw, the victory went to the Spanish players Adrian Naranjo and Candido Jorge, who won the final against the pair Sanchez–Gonzalez 6-4 7-6.
