FIP Promises Finals, an exciting Day2: 62 matches scheduled to decide the semi-finalists

The FIP Promises Finals show has begun at Club Atlético Montemar. After yesterday afternoon’s first round robin matches in the eight draws (from Under 18 to Under 12, girls and boys), the Day2 of the weekend in Alicantewill be a feast for the eyes: there will be 62 matches scheduled, which will complete the group stage and bring the best 32 pairs in the world to play the semi-finals on Sunday, as well as the finals.

Jose Enrique Gimenez Barcelona and Alvaro Pozo Marroyo, seeded number 1 in the Under-18 boys’ draw, made their debut by beating Matteo Quatrana and Andrea Mangiante 6-0 6-2; in the Under-18 girls’ draw, Luna Di Battista and Vittoria Giraldi were beaten 7-6, 6-2 by Jimena Diaz and Constança Gorito. In the Under-16 draw, Vicente Soto and Iker Zamora Garcia, as well as Vega Cano Ortín and Carla Medio Boto, both made winning debuts. Mario Brocal Aviles and Ian Garcia Calvo, as well as Ornella Beltramino and Valeria Garcia Martinez, won their first matches in the Under-14 Finals.
