FIP World Cup Pairs, the World Title patch officially on the shirts of the winning pairs. Carraro: “An eternal symbol of victory”
  • The FIP WCP Patch, a gold-colored reproduction of the official FIP World Cup Pairs logo, will appear on the shirts of the two pairs holding the world title in every official FIP competition for the next two years, until the next edition of the world tournament.

  • The official match shirts bearing the FIP WCP Patch — the logo that certifies victory in the World Championship for pairs — were delivered today by the FIP President, Luigi Carraro, at the conclusion of the “investiture” ceremony, to the reigning women’s and men’s world champions: Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez, Federico Chingotto and Ale Galán.

  • The FIP WCP Patch represents the highest sporting consecration, a visible and permanent mark that will accompany the world champion players in every official competition until the next edition of the FIP World Cup Pairs.

There are victories that can be told with words. And then there are those that are told with a symbol. Today, at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, host of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour Finals, Luigi Carraro, President of the FIP – International Padel Federation – made official and presented the FIP WCP Patch, the symbol of winning the title of World Champions, which the winners will wear on their shirts during the two years following their triumph in Kuwait City last November and until the next edition of the FIP World Cup Pairs.

THE CEREMONY Through a simple yet emotional ceremony, Luigi Carraro presented Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez, Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto – winners of the world title awarded in Kuwait City last November in the first FIP World Cup Pairs in history – with the shirts featuring the gold Patch that symbolizes the world victory and that the players will wear in official competitions until November 2027, when the second edition of the tournament will take place.

The FIP WCP Patch is not only a golden mark printed on fabric, but one imprinted on the skin and in the memory of those who have reached the highest point of our sport. A sign that captures the moment when padel becomes eternity. Every time a world champion enters the court, the padel world will recognize them: because that golden mark tells the story of those who have made this sport great, in a unique tournament that represents an equally unique opportunity. A tournament held once every 730 days and which, in addition to the world title and prize money, awards 2000 points for the FIP World Ranking.

The FIP WCP Patch therefore represents the highest sporting achievement, a visible and permanent symbol that will accompany the world champion players in every official competition until the next edition of the FIP World Cup Pairs.

CARRARO “The FIP World Cup Pairs Patch is much more than the symbol of a world victory. It is a legacy, a gesture of respect toward those who have written the history of padel,” said FIP President Luigi Carraro. “Every time a champion wears the shirt with the FIP WCP Patch, we will remember their sacrifice, their passion, and the beauty of a sport that today speaks to the entire world. And everyone will know that beneath that shirt is someone who has reached the absolute summit of our sport. This is the symbol of a victory that will remain stitched onto the fabric for two years, but forever in time, in memory, and in the hearts of those who love padel.”

Designed to reflect the elegance and universal strength of padel, the FIP WCP Patch combines the sobriety of its message – the trophy raised by the winners in Kuwait – with the color that best represents the dream of victory: that gold that evokes great sporting feats and symbolizes the eternity of the athletic gesture realized in the name of triumph. And not only that: the FIP WCP Patch will be a continuous and visible testament to the global dimension and unity of a movement that grows day after day fueled by passion for padel.
