At the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, the excitement is at its peak: the semifinals on Saturday, 13 December, are already sold out, and only a few tickets remain for the finals on Sunday, 14 December. The Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals are ready for their second edition, featuring the world’s top 16 pairs — eight women’s and eight men’s — competing over four days for the last title of the season after an action-packed 2025. Twenty-two tournaments of the Premier Padel circuit, the FIP World Cup Pairs, the CUPRA FIP Tour: a year of striving to earn as many points as possible in the Race to secure a spot in Barcelona among the elite.

Tomorrow, Thursday 4 December at 12:00, will mark the first key event on the schedule: the draw for the main brackets at the Metropolitan Iradier, with participation from Agustin Tapia — fresh from his triumph at the Acapulco Major — and Ari Sanchez. The tournament in Mexico concluded the race to the Finals, finalizing the list of competing pairs. Among the men, the pairs are: Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia (1), Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan (2), Leo Augsburger and Juan Lebron (3), Mike Yanguas and Coki Nieto (4), Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno (5), Jon Sanz and Paquito Navarro (6), Momo Gonzalez and Fran Guerrero (7), Lucas Bergamini and Javi Leal (8). Among the women, the competing pairs are: Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay (1), Ari Sanchez and Paula Josemaria (2), Claudia Fernandez and Bea Gonzalez (3), Andrea Ustero and Sofia Araujo (4), Marta Ortega and Tamara Icardo (5), Ale Alonso and Claudia Jensen (6), Ale Salazar and Martina Calvo (7), Marina Guinart and Veronica Virseda (8).

 

It will be four unmissable days, with 1,500 FIP ranking points at stake: Thursday 11 and Friday 12 December will host the quarterfinals, Saturday 13 the semifinals, and Sunday 14 the finals. Winners will have their names added to the roll of honor after Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz, champions of the men’s tournament, and Paula Josemaria and Ari Sanchez, queens of the women’s tournament.
