San Antonio, in Chile all eyes on Javier Valdes
January 30, 2026
Almost fifty pairs are entered between the main draw and the qualifiers at the FIP Bronze San Antonio in Chile, running through Sunday at the Padel San Antonio club. Thirty-two teams will compete in the men’s main draw for the title, led by the top seeds: local player Javier Valdés, Chile’s number one, teaming up with Argentina’s Renzo Nuñez. Among the seeded players is also last year’s finalist Pablo Molina, once again paired with fellow Argentine Axel Guevara (3).
Luciano Puppo and Máximo Maldonado are another pair to watch after making their mark in Chile last season. Following wins in Santiago and Viña del Mar, the Buenos Aires duo (seeded number 5) are aiming for another strong weekend. Action starts on Friday with the first round of the main draw, continues on Saturday with the second round and quarter-finals, and wraps up on Sunday with the semi-finals and final.
