Murray’s Team Triumphs: Brea-Calvo and Di Nenno-Tello deliver the decisive points, and Tapia beats Coello
February 1, 2026
Delfi Brea, Martina Calvo, Martin Di Nenno, Juan Tello, and also José Jimenez and Manu Castaño for the NextGen. These are the winners of the Generali Hexagon Cup: at the Caja Magica, on the final day of the first stage of the first team-based Padel circuit under FIP governance and fully integrated into the official Federation calendar, the ADvantage team—whose presidents include Andy Murray, Anthony Joshua, Arran Yentob, and Dani Vallverdu — needed only the first two matches to secure victory over KRÜ Padel, led by Kun Agüero.
Delfi Brea and Martina Calvo defeated Sofia Araujo and Claudia Jensen 7-5 6-3, and then Martin Di Nenno and Juan Tello overcame 7-6 6-2 Fede Chingotto and Momo Gonzalez in two sets, avenging the previous day’s loss. “The value of winning this competition is very high”, said Delfi Brea. “The best players compete here, which gives it extra significance. Everyone has to give their best, and each match is lived as if it were your own—it’s worse to be out than on the court”. “We came with the ambition to win the title, and we’re very happy to share these moments together”, added Di Nenno. “We have an amazing team, and this tournament suits us well. We enjoy it, and in my case, I hope to share many more moments with Juan”.
Third place went to RL9, led by Robert Lewandowski, thanks to Agustin Tapia and Jon Sanz defeating top seed Arturo Coello paired with Edu Alonso 6-4 6-2, and Andrea Ustero and Ari Sanchez beating Bea Gonzalez and Bea Caldera 6-2 6-4. The other stages of the Hexagon Cup 2026 are scheduled for May 7–10, October 22–25, and December 17–20, as the season continues to heat up. Next week, the first FIP Platinum of the year will take place in Marseille, France. After that, the world’s top padel stars will move to Riyadh for the first Premier Padel tournament.
