Day5. Lebron-Augsburger and Josemaria-Gonzalez, how great is the first final!
March 22, 2026
The final day has arrived in Cancún. It will feature two first-time finals, awarding the third Premier Padel title of the season. On one side are two pairs accustomed to competing for titles; on the other, two pairs reaching their first final together. Competing for the women’s title, starting at 17:00 local time (23:00 CET), will be Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay against Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez; the number 1 seeds defeated Marina Guinart and Veronica Virseda 7-6 6-1 and will aim for their second consecutive title after Gijon. It will be a first final for Paulita and Bea, following their 6-2 6-3 win over Marta Ortega and Martina Calvo.
MEN Not before 19:00, the men’s final will take place. Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia are aiming for a second title after opening the season by lifting the trophy in Riyadh: the world number 1 pair secured a 7-6 6-1 victory over Tolito Aguirre and Alex Arroyo, who conclude an outstanding week, as do Gonza Alfonso and Sanyo Gutierrez, defeated 6-1 6-2 by Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger. Lebron, who won at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre Costa Mujeres last year alongside Franco Stupaczuk, is now aiming to repeat that success in 2026 with another Argentine partner.
