FISU World University Championship Padel: FIP and FISU visit Malaga

A delegation from the International Padel Federation (FIP) and the International University Sports Federation (FISU) visited the city of Malaga, host from 6 to 11 July of the first FISU World University Championship Padel, organised by the University of the Spanish city in collaboration with FIP.

 

During the visit, FISU and FIP representatives met with members of the local organising committee to review operational planning and assess the readiness of the key venues that will host the competition. Discussions focused on accommodation, competition facilities, athlete services, logistics and the overall event programme.

 

Members of the organising committee provided updates on the event schedule, competition format and complementary cultural activities designed to enhance the experience for university athletes from around the world. The event aims to celebrate the rapid global growth of padel while strengthening international connections through university sport and its role in promoting collaboration, cultural exchange and sporting excellence on a global scale.
