Kaunas, Cassetta-Gutierrez vs Nunes-Sans: title challenge

The pairs Gustavo Nunes-‘Tonet’ Sans (1) and Marco Cassetta-Cristian Gutierrez (2) are the favourites for victory at the FIP Bronze in Kaunas, Lithuania. Cassetta, record holder for titles won on the CUPRA FIP Tour with 13 victories, has already come close to winning twice in 2026: at the FIP Bronze events in Siracusa and Agadir, Morocco, where he lost the final on both occasions. In the top half of the main draw, alongside the number 1 seeds, are Johan Bergeron-Jérémy Robert (4) and Matteo Sargolini-Giulio Graziotti (5). Manuel Aragón and Miguel Solbes (3), together with Cassetta-Gutierrez, are in the bottom half of the main draw.

In the women’s draw, the number 1 seeds are Patri Martínez and Marta Arellano. Their main challengers for the title are Carla Touly-Camila Fassio (2), Rebeca López-Lucia Fernandez (3) and Valeria Atencia-Lucía Pérez (4). The latter won the FIP Bronze in Singapore in 2026 with Catherine Rose. They are followed by Patrícia Ribeiro-Dora Andrejszki (5), Louise Bahurel-Charlotte Soubrié (6) and Margarida Fernandes-Maria Garin (7).
