Belgium, all the weekend’s results in Gent

The Belgian stage of the FIP Promises Tour held in Gent concluded with a double title in the Under 16 and Under 18 girls’ categories for the pair Hanne Van Bruyssel and Nanou Vereertbrugghen. On both occasions, the champions defeated Zoey Komander and Goebel Finja: in the Under 16 final with a 6-3 6-2 scoreline, and in the second with a commanding 6-0 6-2 victory. Anna Wateurs and Eleana Bakket overcame all their opponents to triumph in the Under 14 category.

 

In the boys’ competitions, Eliot Verraghen and Loris Morvan lifted the Under 18 trophy. After defeating Degeling Lenno and Stan Gailliaert in the semi-finals in a balanced match decided by only a few points (6-3 3-6 10-7), the pair went on to beat Ebbe Badersten and Ludvig Jonsson in the final. The pairs Oliver Grantham-Mark Giulio Menotti and Juan Segura-Lucas Terminet claimed the title respectively in the Under 16 and Under 14 categories of the Belgian stage of the FIP Promises Tour.
