Four events in one weekend: the NextGen returns to the court

This week, the young talents of world padel will compete in four stages of the FIP Promises Tour: Guayaquil (Ecuador), Chicago (Usa), Manila (Philippines) and Grosseto (Italy).

 

In Ecuador, eight draws will be played: Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 in both the boys’ and girls’ categories. In the oldest boys’ age group, Mateo Herrera Sedgwick and Agustin Alvarez are the tournament’s top seeds. Among the contenders for the girls’ Under 18 title are the pairs Angeline Guerrero Falcones-Sara Gomez De La Torre and Isabella Garivia Abuhayar-Amelia Salazar Bolanos.

 

At the Chicago stage, the male NextGen players will compete on the courts of the “Padel Clube”. Among the entrants in the Under 18 category are Alejandro Kalil-Emiliano Antonio Gonzalez and Santiago Castro Varela-Jorge Chaul. The latter will also compete in the Under 16 draw alongside Diego De La Cruz. Among their rivals are the pairs Matthew Toro-Matias Esteban Vazquez and Santiago Gonzalez-Marco Fuentes Davila.

 

In Italy, Grosseto will host an event full of matches. Competing for the Under 18 title at the FIP Promises Sanremo Padel Experience will be the top seeds Francesco Cocco-Leon Oleatti and Jorge Cuenca Tornero-Martin Araguete Sales. In the girls’ Under 16 category, the spotlight will be on Costanza Vanni-Flavia Maltese and sisters Rishita and Anshika Rajagopal.

 

From Europe to Asia. The FIP Promises High Velocity in Manila will take place in the Philippines. Several pairs will compete for the boys’ Under 18 title, including Roan Lara-Rj Bancolo and Rafael Jose Soesilo-Ahmad Fasya Jufri. The matches featuring the young padel talents will be played at “The Padel Club”.
