Miami, home victory for Brittany Dubins with a special dedication: “Thanks grandma, this is for you””

A winning run that began last October and continues seven months later. Brittany Dubins claims another CUPRA FIP Tour title, once again in the United States, where she has triumphed at all three events held to date. From the FIP Bronze in Austin to the FIP Silver in San Diego last November, the Miami player this time prevailed in her home tournament, the FIP Bronze held in the ‘Magic City’ over the weekend. Dubins, partnering Brazil’s Camila Ramme, secured a 6-1 6-1 victory in the final against France’s Nada Majdoubi and Julie Razafindranaly. “It is so fun to play at home and to share the court with Camila,” said Dubins after the win. “Amazing level all the weekend. You are such a fighter and I cannot wait to share more moments together!”. She then added a special thought: “I also dedicate this tournament to my 87-year-old grandmother. I’m so grateful she was able to come watch, and seeing her on the sidelines definitely made me compete with even more heart.”

In the men’s draw, meanwhile, Rodrigo Coello secured his second title of 2026, this time partnering Jaume Romera. In the final, the Spanish pair defeated Mexico’s Juan Pablo Castillo and José Pablo Padilla 6-4 6-2, winning the tournament without dropping a set. “Champions in Miami! Thank you Rodrigo for this incredible week, we gave everything in every match,” said Romera. “Thank you Jaume for fighting alongside me,” replied Coello.
