May 14, 2026
From the FIP Silver titles won in Wadi (Egypt) and Caltanissetta (Italy) to last week’s triumph at the FIP Bronze in London, Marcos González Blanco and Víctor Mena are aiming to secure their fourth title of the season on the CUPRA FIP Tour by winning the FIP Silver in Timisoara, Romania. Among the main rivals of the pair are Albert Roglan Pons, recent winner of the FIP Bronze in Kolding (Denmark), and Manuel Aragón Herrera, finalist at the FIP Silver in Bari. Also in the spotlight are Spanish brothers Álvaro and Pedro Meléndez, who are seeking their first title of the year on this circuit. Other competitive pairs entered include Andrés Graupera-Clément Geens and Marcos Cordoba-Borja Trujillo.
Bárbara Las Heras and Carla Mesa arrive in Romania following their victory at last week’s FIP Silver in Teramo, secured after defeating Emily Stellato and Carolina Orsi in the final. Among the entries is another pair that claimed a title last week: Carlotta Casali and Ana Dominguez, champions of the FIP Bronze in London. Attention will also be on the pair formed by Ana Varo and Blanca Arriola Cerrejón, finalist at the FIP Bronze Cyprus I. Also among the contenders are the two Italians Clarissa Aima and Caterina Baldi, who this year won the FIP Bronze in Montesilvano.
