Spain, Mario Huete targets his first victory of the year on the CUPRA FIP Tour

After reaching the finals of the FIP Bronze tournaments in Agadir and Siracusa alongside Marco Cassetta, Mario Huete will attempt to claim his first title of the year on the CUPRA FIP Tour at the FIP Bronze Castellón Automoción Cano Kia. This time he will compete alongside Pedro Meléndez as the tournament’s top-seeded pair. Also aiming for the title at the Spanish event is Aris Patiniotis, who will play with Frenchman Thomas Leygue. Other pairs in the spotlight include Dani Luna-Nacho Moragues and Nacho Moragues-Luis Oliver Artigas. The wild cards are Nicolas Fernandez-Alejandro Moreno and Jose Manuel Lillo-Daniel Sardina.

The leading contenders, and top seeds in the women’s draw, are Patri Martínez and Claudia Escacena. The latter won the FIP Bronze tournaments in Houten, Viseu and Helsingborg in March. They are placed in the top half of the draw. Also entered in the tournament are Ainize Santamaria-Susana Martin, Dora Chamli-Aurora Buscaino and Clarinha Santos-Cayetana Sanchez.
