Sweden, Gonzalo Rubio and Javi Ruiz chase another triumph

After their victory earlier this month at the FIP Silver Vila Real de Santo Antonio in Portugal, the pair formed by Gonzalo Rubio and Javi Ruiz are aiming to win their second title of the year together on the CUPRA FIP Tour at the FIP Silver of Höganäs, Sweden. In addition to the title won alongside Ruiz, Rubio has already claimed the FIP Bronze Mumbai and the FIP Silver Kuala Lumpur this season. Their main rivals for the title are Manu Castaño and Xisco Gil. Other pairs to watch in the tournament include Marc Sintes-Dani Santigosa and Guillermo Fernández-Ale Merino.

In the women’s draw are Alix Collombon, winner this year of the FIP Silver Bari and Caen, and Ksenia Sharifova. The pair are placed in the bottom half of the draw alongside Virginia Riera and Teresa Navarro. Together, the latter duo claimed titles in 2026 at the FIP Bronze Bahrain and Agrigento, as well as the FIP Silver Dubai. In the top half of the main draw are Leti Manquillo-Noemi Aguilar and Sophia Horne-Camilla Møller.
