Final 8 groups confirmed as the best of the NextGen take the court from Tuesday

The opening ceremony, featuring the traditional parade of teams, officially launched the Final 8 of the FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup in Porto, Portugal. The event marks the concluding stage of the European team competition dedicated to the NextGen, a key commitment of the International Padel Federation to the development and growth of future champions.

 

From 30 June to 4 July, eight men’s teams and eight women’s teams will compete for the European title. Once again, the challenge will be against Spain: two years ago, in the Budapest edition, Spain won both the men’s and women’s competitions, with France and Sweden completing the boys’ podium, and Italy and Portugal finishing second and third respectively in the girls’ event.

 

DRAW During the ceremony, the draw for the boys’ and girls’ groups was held, outlining the structure of the final stage. In the boys’ competition, alongside the national teams already qualified through the ranking — Spain, France, Sweden and Belgium — Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands and Denmark also reached the Final 8 after progressing through the qualification stage. In the girls’ draw, where Spain, Italy, Portugal and France were already directly qualified, Belgium, Sweden, the Netherlands and Estonia complete the Final 8 line-up.

 

BOYS

GIRLS

Group A: Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands
Group B: Italy, France, Sweden, Estonia

 

At the end of the group stage, the top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals, while the remaining teams will play for positions from fifth to eighth. All matches of the Final 8 will be streamed live on the official FIP YouTube channel.
