Sabadell crowns young padel champions

The FIP Promises in Sabadell crowned 16 champions: eight in the girls’ draw and eight in the boys’ draw. In the Under 18 category, Leon Ortega Ibanez and Tomas Castro Serigos, after defeating Assier Martinez Castillo and Pol Mas Cervilla in the semi-finals (6-1 6-4), overcame the tournament’s No. 1 seeds Marcos Sanchez Pestana and Victor Escorihuela Dealbert with a double 6-4 victory. The pairs Erika Mesa Martinez-Aina Porta Falguera and Ornella Beltramino-Claudia Ferrer were crowned champions in the Under 18 and Under 16 categories respectively.
