Five events across four continents: NextGen takes centre stage worldwide

A busy weekend awaits the NextGen. The five FIP Promises Tour events on the schedule are spread across Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas: Giulianova (Italy), Cologne (Germany), San Francisco (United States), Karachi (Pakistan) and Lusaka (Zambia).

 

At FIP Promises Giulianova, eight draws will be played: Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 for both boys and girls. In the oldest boys’ age group, the No. 1 seeds are Mark Menotti and Riccardo Minighini. The leading rival pairs are Leon Oleatti-Leonardo Villa, Alessandro Patti-Christian Tempesta and Mattia Cristallo-Raffaele Tatullo. In the girls’ Under 18 draw, Matilde Di Gregorio-Eleonora Regini and Giorgia Baviglio-Maria Ciccotosto will be among the pairs to watch.

 

In Germany, the NextGen boys will take to the court in the Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 draws. In the latter category, German pairs Finn Michel Korff-Julius Blankenburg and Luan Hanrath-Linus Ströhl will aim to win the title on home soil. Belgian player Nicolas Van Brempt-Gilles De Peuter leads the Under 14 draw. They are followed by Karl Emil Angermair-Marius Damgaard Bojesen, Francesco Ferrari-Lennert Strackx and Vytautas Simkus-Jonathan Pedro Vilkas Barcelos.

 

The young padel talents are ready to showcase their skills in the city of San Francisco. The Under 16 boys will compete for the title. Among the registered pairs are Diego Sonville-Vihaan Paka Hegde, Willem Shpilsky-Alexson Watts and Alejandro Kalil-Emiliano Antonio Gonzalez. Seven Under 14 pairs will compete for the title at the ‘Park Padel’ courts in San Francisco.

 

At FIP Promises Lusaka II, taking place in Zambia, six draws will be played: Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 boys and Under 12 and 14 girls. Among the pairs entered in the latter draw are Amaanah Anvernali-Leeyah Tayob and Amira Safieddine-Diane Shour. In the same boys’ age group, the six registered pairs include Yusuf Packery-Muhammed Osman, Hussein Idris Patel-Muhammed Patel and Issa Mohamad Nasser-Ameer Ali Ghaddar. All matches at this FIP Promises Tour event will be played at the ‘Summit Sports Arena’.

 

The circuit dedicated to the NextGen of padel returns to Pakistan, where four boys’ draws are scheduled (Under 12, 14, 16 and 18). Leading the oldest age group are Mohamed Nasser-Abdulrahman Alyafei. Their main rivals are the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds, Ibrahim Shiraz-Ismail Aftab and Mueez Usman Allawala-Asher Usman Allawala. In the Under draw, the duo Essa Alkuwari-Hassan Ahmed leads the field.
