Teikari-Killman claim two titles as Sweden shines in Stockholm

Two outstanding finals, with the same winners on both occasions: Lola Teikari and Selma Killman claimed two titles in front of the home crowd at FIP Promises Stockholm. The Swedish pair, who starred in their national team’s fantastic bronze medal at the FIP Junior Euro Padel Cup three months ago, won the Under 18 and Under 16 girls’ titles, defeating Dutch sisters Rishita and Anshika Rajagopal in both finals. Among the other young stars of Sweden’s junior national team, Amanda Blohme and Maja Linge also lifted a title, winning the Under 14.

At the Good To Great Norion Bank Arena, many local talents were in the spotlight, including Under 18 boys’ winners Malde Lindh and Filip Dahlqvist. The pair pulled off a surprise victory, defeating number 1 seeds Brydolf/Garau Barbosa in the semi-finals before beating number 2 seeds Hermus/Jans in the final (6-4 4-6 11-9).
