From Asia to Europe: NextGen takes centre stage at four events across two continents

ROME – Another busy weekend of competition is about to begin. NextGen will take centre stage at four stops on the FIP Promises Tour, the circuit dedicated to the world’s leading young padel talents. This week’s events will take place in Venray (the Netherlands), Frascati (Italy), Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Hong Kong.

The FIP Promises Venray promises a competitive weekend, with seven draws in total: four boys’ draws (Under 12, 14, 16 and 18) and three girls’ draws (Under 12, 14 and 16). In the oldest boys’ category, Daniel Sanchez Beneyto and Leon David Ruiz Shannon lead the draw, followed by Pieter Hermus-Daan Jans and Rafael Reyes Moreno-Alvaro Abad Diaz. In the girls’ Under 18 category, Anshika and Rishita Rajagopal are among the leading pairs.

From the Netherlands to Italy, attention also turns to the FIP Promises Frascati II. As in Venray, seven draws will be contested: four boys’ draws (Under 12, 14, 16 and 18) and three girls’ draws (Under 14, 16 and 18). Italians Matteo Quatrana-Alessandro Zaccagnino lead the Under 18 draw, while Nathan and Benjamin Filieri head the Under 12 draw.

Two further stops on the FIP Promises Tour complete the weekend’s programme. The FIP Promises Almaty II will feature three boys’ draws: Under 14, 16 and 18. Two pairs share top billing in the oldest age category: Daniil Voit-Andres Elias Matos and Damir Duissengazin-Tair Kairetdinov. In the Under 16 category, Arnun Tursynkhan-Islam Duissengazin and Igor Kharitonov-Viacheslav Marinich will be looking to play leading roles.

NextGen will also feature in the three draws at FIP Promises Hong Kong II. The boys will compete in the Under 12 and Under 14 categories, while the girls will contest the Under 12 draw. In the oldest boys’ category, Indonesian pair Arsakha Ganendra-Muhammad Azka Pradita Pasha lead the draw. Their main challengers are Luka Ko-Scott Ka Ho Cheung and Dmitrii Stepanov-Stepan Ovcharov.
