Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1, October 6–12: the world’s best stars in Italy.Carraro: “A new date for an even better tournament”
September 30, 2025
New date in the calendar, same unmissable emotions. For the fourth year in a row, Milan becomes the home of padel: from October 6 to 12, the Allianz Cloud will host the Oysho Milano Premier Padel P1, one of the pillars of the professional circuit organized by the International Padel Federation (FIP) with Qatar Sports Investments (QSI). Presented today at the Sala Appiani of the Arena Civica Gianni Brera, the tournament will bring together the best male and female players in the world. The winning pairs will get 1000 points for the FIP Ranking, at stake in a season finale that will close in December with the much-awaited Finals in Barcelona, reserved for the top 16 women and top 16 men of the Race.
The Milan P1, in a city where padel is extremely popular, is the second Italian tournament of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel 2025 circuit, after the Rome Major. It comes at the end of a very busy season, alternating the big events of the Premier Padel Tour and the CUPRA FIP Tour with national team competitions organized by FIP: from the Euro Padel Cup finals in Spain (Italy is defending runner-up with both women and men) to the brand-new and much-anticipated FIP World Cup Pairs in Kuwait.
THE STATEMENTS – Luigi Carraro, FIP President: “Milan welcomes padel with love, and for this I thank Undersecretary Picchi, because the support of the Lombardy Region and of the City of Milan is fundamental. In 2022, with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, we had the idea of launching a new padel circuit. Normally, such projects are planned years in advance, but we decided to start immediately. From the very beginning, Martina Riva believed in and supported our project. I remember she came to the Rome tournament and told us she wanted to bring the same show to Milan. In our calendar, only the great cities can have a P1 tournament, and Milan will always be one of them. Until last year, we had three wonderful editions in December, but with this new date, fans and players from all over the world can experience even more the extraordinary atmosphere of this city. We just presented the FIP Junior World Cup in Reus, Spain: the previous edition had 350 athletes from 17 countries, while this one will have 600 athletes from 35 countries. Big tournaments like Milan have the goal of inspiring young people, bringing them closer to sport, and helping them become the champions of tomorrow. For these numbers too, I believe padel has all the features to become an Olympic sport. And our world circuits are unique: there is no other top sport where men and women play every event of the tour together.”
Martina Riva, Councillor for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policies of the City of Milan: “I am very happy that Premier Padel returns to Milan, and that the Palazzina Appiani of the Arena Civica, the Liberty-style villa of our city, was chosen for the presentation. Premier Padel was the first event I worked on, bringing it to Milan thanks to the collaboration with FIP, FITP and NSA. I can say the Allianz Cloud was born thanks to Premier Padel: from that event we started to receive many requests, and the images of the Milan P1 went all over the world. Padel attracts young people and families: it brings music, lights, friendships. Thanks to the organizers and to all who trust us. See you at the Allianz Cloud, ready to set more records.”
David Serrahima, General Manager Premier Padel: “We are very happy to return to Milan and to see the Premier Padel circuit growing all over the world, exploring new markets. Premier Padel loves Milan, the players love Milan, and it was one of the first cities that asked to host a tournament. Important points for the FIP Ranking and the Race to Barcelona are at stake. My invitation is clear: come to the Allianz Cloud and don’t miss this extraordinary padel show.”
Federica Picchi, Undersecretary for Youth and Sport of the Lombardy Region: “The numbers of padel are exciting, not only at the national level but also here in our region. Out of 1.5 million players in Italy, over 400,000 are in Lombardy, half of them in Milan, and of all ages. We are the second region for number of courts and clubs, and growth is constant. I have always been worried about sports facilities, but with such growth, padel is one sport I won’t need to worry about. At the Allianz Cloud we will see the best players in the world, and I thank Premier Padel and FIP for helping make sure the 2025 edition of Milano Premier Padel will have amazing numbers.”
Marco Gamberale, Ceo NSA Group: “The three indicators that clearly show the success of a big sports event are: ticket sales, media and TV interest, and the interest and quality of sponsors. In Milan, we can highlight how the public has grown constantly, as well as the attention and support of sponsors. On the eve of the fourth edition, there is optimism based on the solid results of past editions.”
